As an old time buyer from Ichiroya's I finally joined their blog. I think it is a wonderful initiative to be able to donate to Doctors without borders this way. These older uchikake are just too wonderful! As I do not have the space or the funds to buy any of them I love to look at them and hope some one will fall in love with her to and give her a new good home. These blue ones are my favourites and one day I hope to own one... For now I just look. As I usually only buy kimono I can actuelly wear these gorgeous pieces of silk art are not for me. But if you had the space, wouldnt it be wonderful to put her on the wall for a view days and enjoy her endless beauty?
